ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well certain tests can detect peri-implantitis, which is an inflammation around dental implants. Specifically, the study will compare the accuracy of measuring the depth of the space around the implant before and after removing the dental prosthesis (the crown or bridge that sits on top of the implant). The researchers want to understand not only if these measurements are effective in diagnosing the condition but also what other factors might influence these results.
To be eligible to participate, you must be over 18 years old and have had your dental implant fully integrated and restored for at least one month. You should also be willing to have your dental prosthesis removed for this study. However, if you have serious health issues, severe mouth infections, or certain conditions that make dental procedures difficult, you won't be able to join. Participants can expect a straightforward process where their dental health will be assessed to help improve future treatments for patients with similar conditions. This study is currently in the recruiting phase, and both men and women are encouraged to participate.
