ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring two different treatments for a condition called lateral epicondylitis, commonly known as "tennis elbow." The study aims to compare the effects of neuromuscular reeducation, which helps retrain the muscles around the elbow, to friction massage, a technique that involves rubbing the elbow area to relieve pain. The goal is to find out which method works better for easing the symptoms of this condition.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be between 25 and 50 years old and have been diagnosed with lateral epicondylitis, showing positive results on specific tests. However, those with recent elbow injuries, joint instability, active joint diseases, or open wounds around the elbow are not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive either the neuromuscular reeducation or friction massage treatment as part of the research process. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and both men and women are welcome to take part.
