ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Brazilian Registry of Menopausal, is a national study that aims to learn more about the health and quality of life of Brazilian women aged 35 to 65 who are going through menopause or have already experienced it. The study includes cisgender women and transgender men who have not had surgery or hormonal treatments related to their sexual characteristics. Researchers believe that factors like where a person lives and their economic background can greatly affect their health and understanding of menopause.
To participate, you need to be a woman or transgender man aged between 35 and 65 and visiting a public or private health service for a medical consultation. You must also be able to agree to take part voluntarily and sign a consent form. However, certain conditions may prevent someone from joining, like being pregnant, having uncontrolled health issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure, or having undergone specific surgeries. Participants will be asked questions in an interview format to help researchers gather valuable information about menopause experiences in Brazil. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide important insights into the challenges faced by individuals in this life stage.
