ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at brachial plexus tumors, which are rare growths that can affect the nerves controlling the arm and hand. These tumors can be either benign (not cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) and may lead to significant problems with arm movement and sensation. The goal of this study is to understand different types of these tumors and the best surgical approaches to treat them. Surgery is often the main treatment to help relieve symptoms and prevent further nerve damage.
To participate in this trial, patients need to have a confirmed diagnosis of a brachial plexus tumor through imaging tests and be healthy enough for surgery. There are some people who won't be eligible, such as those with nerve issues that aren't caused by tumors or those who have had their tumors treated before. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it will welcome individuals of any age and gender who meet the criteria. If you or a loved one are considering being part of this study, you can expect to undergo assessments that will help doctors learn more about these tumors and improve treatment options in the future.
