ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how art therapy can help patients with chronic kidney disease who are receiving hemodialysis. Many of these patients deal with anxiety and depression, which can make their treatment experience more difficult. Art therapy is a creative approach that allows patients to express themselves and can help reduce anxiety, boost self-confidence, and promote relaxation, leading to an overall better quality of life.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have been undergoing hemodialysis for at least six months. They should also be able to communicate well and not have any infections or sensory impairments like vision or hearing loss. If you join the trial, you can expect to engage in art therapy sessions, which will be evaluated to see how they affect your anxiety and resilience. This study is still in the planning stages and has not started recruiting participants yet.
