ClinConnect Summary
The Project COPE-Spain trial is designed to help parents of teenagers who may be experiencing anxiety or depression. The study focuses on a program called COPE, which aims to support parents by improving their emotional health and parenting skills. This program is tailored for parents in Spain and will be run in groups at schools, specifically at IES Isaac Newton during the 2024-2025 school year. The goal is to not only help parents feel better but also to positively influence their children's emotional and behavioral well-being.
To participate, you need to be a parent or legal guardian of a teenager enrolled at IES Isaac Newton and be able to attend all four sessions of the program. However, if you are currently receiving psychological treatment or have had recent changes in psychiatric medication, you won't be eligible to join. Participants can expect a supportive environment where they will learn coping strategies and connect with other parents facing similar challenges. This trial is currently recruiting, so if you think you might be eligible, it could be a great opportunity to gain new tools for parenting and improve family well-being.
