ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different types of cardiac rehabilitation programs can help patients who are having coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Specifically, researchers want to find out if starting rehabilitation before the surgery, combined with rehabilitation after, leads to better recovery than just doing rehabilitation after the surgery alone. They will look at various factors, such as how well patients can move, their lung function, muscle strength, pain levels, fear of movement, and overall quality of life after the surgery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 65, have had CABG surgery, and have a heart function measurement (called ejection fraction) greater than 40%. You also should be able to understand and communicate in your language. However, if you have an active infection, a current tumor, a recent history of certain blood clots, or other significant health issues that could affect the study, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in rehabilitation activities designed to support your recovery both before and after your surgery, helping you get back to your daily life as quickly and safely as possible.
