ClinConnect Summary
The Tsinghua University Tiantongyuan Community Osteoarthritis Study is a research project aimed at understanding osteoarthritis (OA), a common joint condition that often causes pain and stiffness, especially in older adults. The study will look at how OA develops over time and what factors might make it worse, including various health factors related to metabolism, which is how our bodies use food and energy.
To participate, you need to be at least 50 years old and have lived in the study area for a long time. It's important that you can communicate well and are willing to attend follow-up visits throughout the study. Unfortunately, if you have certain conditions that affect communication or if you're pregnant, you won't be able to join. This study is an opportunity to contribute to valuable research that could help improve the understanding and treatment of osteoarthritis in the future.
