ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how two different types of exercise programs can help overweight young men improve their health. Specifically, it compares high-intensity circuit training (which involves short bursts of intense exercise) to moderate-intensity continuous training (like steady jogging). The goal is to see which method better improves body weight, heart health, and other important health markers, while also looking at how much participants enjoy the exercises and stick to the program over 12 weeks.

To participate, men aged 18 to 30 who are overweight (with a body mass index between 23 and 24.9) and haven't been active for the past six months may be eligible. Participants should be willing to commit to the exercise program for the entire duration and not engage in other exercise activities during this time. They will be asked to keep track of their food intake and physical activity each month. It's important to note that individuals with certain health conditions, those who smoke, or those who have had recent injuries may not be eligible. Overall, participants can expect to engage in a structured exercise program, receive support, and contribute to valuable research that could help improve health outcomes for young adults.
