ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new exercise method called Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) to see if it can help women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI). SUI is when women accidentally leak urine during activities like exercising, sneezing, or coughing. The researchers want to find out if DNS is as effective as traditional pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) in reducing urinary symptoms and improving the strength of pelvic floor muscles.
To participate in this study, women aged between 18 and 62 who speak Turkish and have SUI can join. However, those with certain health conditions, such as a history of pelvic floor training, neurological disorders, or pregnancy, won’t be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in specific exercises aimed at strengthening their core and pelvic muscles, which may help improve their urinary symptoms. The study is currently looking for volunteers, and it could provide valuable insights into new ways to support women's health.
