ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how virtual reality-based music therapy can help improve thinking and movement skills in people aged 50 to 75 who have had a stroke between 2 weeks and 6 months ago. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive regular physiotherapy, while the other will enjoy virtual reality music therapy along with physiotherapy. The research will measure how well participants can think, move their arms, balance, and any effects of the stroke before and after a 6-week treatment period at Istanbul Aydın University VM Medical Park Hospital.
To join this study, individuals need to be between 50 and 75 years old and have had a specific type of stroke that affects one side of the body. They should also be able to hear, understand, and speak well enough to use virtual reality games. Unfortunately, those with certain medical conditions, severe vision or hearing problems, or who cannot sit up in a chair will not be able to participate. Everyone who is interested will need to give their written consent before starting. This study has been approved by an ethics committee, ensuring it meets safety and ethical standards.
