ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the sexual health of women from Sub-Saharan Africa who have recently been diagnosed with HIV after moving to the Île-de-France region in France. The study aims to identify the challenges these women face and the opportunities that may have been missed for preventing HIV and providing better testing. By learning from their experiences, the researchers hope to improve health care and support services for these women.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be women from Sub-Saharan Africa who were diagnosed with HIV on French soil since 2021 and are 18 years or older. Unfortunately, women who were diagnosed before 2021 or in their home country are not able to participate. If eligible, participants can expect to share their experiences and discuss the barriers they face in accessing health care. The study is currently not recruiting but is an important step toward enhancing the support available for vulnerable migrant women living with HIV.
