ClinConnect Summary
The "Walk With Me" clinical trial is designed to help parents who are grieving after losing a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth. The trial aims to see if a program called "Along With Me," which is available through a mobile app, can help reduce feelings of stress and thoughts of suicide in these parents. Some participants will also receive support from a Peer Guide, who can provide additional help and encouragement. Researchers will compare the effects of this program to the usual support offered in hospitals to find out which is more effective.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be at least 15 years old, live in the United States, and have experienced a pregnancy loss or early infant death within the last month. They should also be able to read and understand English or Spanish at a basic level. If you join the study, you can expect to access a series of helpful modules on the app, which will guide you on managing grief and related feelings. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it’s a valuable opportunity for those who qualify to receive support during a very difficult time.
