ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a specific pain management technique called the external oblique and rectus abdominis plane (EXORA) block for patients who are having surgery to repair an umbilical hernia. The goal is to see if this method can help reduce pain after the surgery, making recovery easier for patients.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 65 years old and in good health with a low risk of anesthesia complications. They should be scheduled for umbilical hernia repair and not have any history of allergies to local anesthetics or other specific medical conditions that could complicate the treatment. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the EXORA block during your surgery, which may help manage your pain afterward. It's important to know that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so more information will be available once it starts.
