ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well a specific treatment called endovascular therapy (EVT) works for patients who have had an acute ischemic stroke, particularly those caused by blockages in major blood vessels in the brain. EVT is a procedure that helps remove these blockages and has been shown to lead to better recovery outcomes compared to standard medical treatments. However, some patients might still experience worsening neurological symptoms after the procedure. This study aims to evaluate the reasons behind these complications and how they affect recovery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have had a stroke in the anterior part of the brain that required EVT. Some individuals may not be able to join, such as those who are pregnant or have difficulty undergoing specific tests related to the study. If you qualify and decide to take part, you'll be monitored closely after the treatment to see how you're doing and to better understand the recovery process. This information could help improve future care for stroke patients.
