ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving early pregnancy screenings in the Czech Republic. Specifically, it aims to detect serious complications that can occur during pregnancy, such as preeclampsia (a condition that can affect blood pressure), fetal growth issues, and congenital abnormalities (birth defects). By developing a standardized way to perform these screenings, the trial hopes to better predict and manage these complications, ultimately improving the health of both mothers and babies.
To be eligible for this trial, women must be over 18 years old and in their first trimester of pregnancy, which is between 11 and 13 weeks along. Participants will need to provide their consent to take part in the study and agree to the processing of their personal data. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to undergo the combined first trimester screening, which will help healthcare providers track important health information related to their pregnancy. This project also aims to create a system that can help ensure public health insurance supports these screenings in the future.
