ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to better manage pain for patients who have undergone a specific type of nose surgery called septorhinoplasty. The goal is to understand how pain levels change over time after surgery and how the timing of pain relief medications affects recovery. By tracking pain scores using a simple tool called the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), researchers hope to find ways to improve pain management after the surgery.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have had septorhinoplasty surgery while under general anesthesia. You should also be able to communicate about your pain after the surgery. Unfortunately, if you have had other types of surgeries, cannot assess your pain due to sedation or confusion, or have certain medical conditions, you might not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to be monitored for at least 30 minutes after your surgery to evaluate your pain levels and the effectiveness of pain relief strategies.
