ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the experiences of adult women who have been victims of domestic violence. The researchers want to understand how women view themselves and their situations, and why some might hesitate to report their experiences of violence. To do this, they are looking for women over 18 who can speak and understand French, have suffered from physical or psychological abuse, and are connected to a social security program.
If you decide to participate, you will spend about one hour in the study. First, you will have a 30-minute interview with a doctor or nurse, where they will ask you about your background and the violence you have experienced. After that, you will complete some questionnaires on a computer, which will take another 30 minutes. These questionnaires will ask about your past experiences, feelings, and thoughts related to relationships and self-esteem. Your participation will help researchers better understand the challenges faced by women in similar situations and improve support for those affected by domestic violence.
