ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of peaches affect blood sugar levels in healthy adults. Although peaches are generally considered good fruits for managing blood sugar, there can be differences in how different varieties impact blood glucose due to their sugar content and ripeness. By studying these different peach types, the researchers hope to provide better advice on which peaches are best for people who need to manage their blood sugar.
To be part of this study, participants need to be healthy adults aged 18 to 50 years, with a body mass index (BMI) in the normal range and normal fasting blood sugar levels. Those who have diabetes, metabolic issues, or allergies to peaches, among other factors, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to taste various peach varieties and share their experiences, helping researchers understand which peaches might be the best for keeping blood sugar levels stable. Please note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants.
