ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Generalization and Specificity of Visual Learning During Sleep," is exploring how sleep helps us learn and process visual information. Researchers believe that sleep plays an important role in improving our ability to recognize and understand what we see, but they want to learn more about how this happens in the brain. To investigate this, they will use advanced imaging techniques to monitor brain activity during sleep in healthy volunteers.
If you're between the ages of 18 and 30 and have normal vision or vision that can be corrected with glasses or contacts, you may be eligible to participate. However, individuals with certain eye conditions, sleep disorders, or specific medical devices like pacemakers cannot join the study. Participants will undergo tests to check their vision and will be monitored while they sleep to help researchers understand the learning process during sleep. This study is currently recruiting volunteers, and your involvement could help uncover important insights into how our brains learn while we rest.
