ClinConnect Summary

The Thrive Person-Centered Planning Program is a clinical trial designed to help young adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). This study is testing a new program called Thrive, which focuses on creating personalized plans that reflect what is most important to each young adult. Participants will work with their support team to set and achieve their goals. The study will include 60 young adults aged 18 to 25 who live in the United States and have a diagnosis of FASD or confirmed prenatal alcohol exposure.

In this trial, half of the participants will start the Thrive program right away, while the other half will be placed on a waitlist and begin the program about eight months later. Throughout the study, all participants will complete online surveys at three different times: at the beginning, after four months, and after eight months. The goal is to see if the Thrive program helps these young adults meet their goals and receive the support they need. It's important to note that participants need to have internet access and be able to communicate in English to join the study.
