ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatments for plantar warts, which are viral infections on the bottom of the feet. The researchers want to compare the effectiveness of topical retinoids (a type of cream) and liquid nitrogen (a freezing treatment) to see which works better in removing these warts. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it is open to both men and women between the ages of 18 and 60 who have recurrent plantar warts.
If you decide to participate in this study, you will receive one of the two treatments and will be monitored by healthcare professionals to track your progress. However, there are some important criteria to keep in mind before joining. You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, have had certain treatments in the last six months, or have more than five warts. This trial aims to find a better way to treat plantar warts, so if you fit the eligibility criteria and are looking for treatment, this could be an opportunity for you.
