Symptom Management Burning Mouth Syndrome Oral Spray

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a special oral cooling spray to see how it affects people with Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS), a condition that causes a burning sensation in the mouth. The study aims to understand how this spray might help ease symptoms, how often these symptoms occur, and how they impact eating, enjoyment of food, and overall quality of life for those suffering from BMS.

To participate in this trial, individuals need to be at least 18 years old, live in the United States, and have been diagnosed or suspect they have Burning Mouth Syndrome. Participants should not have any recent dental work or plans for dental treatment in the near future, and they should not have certain health conditions like cancer or gum disease. If eligible, participants will be asked to use the cooling spray and share their experiences regarding any changes in their symptoms and daily life. This could be an important step towards finding better ways to manage BMS.
