ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different treatment options for men with teratozoospermia, a condition where sperm have abnormal shapes that can affect fertility. Researchers want to compare three approaches: using medical treatment alone, having a surgery called varicocelectomy (which involves fixing swollen veins in the scrotum), and combining both medical treatment and surgery. Varicoceles can negatively impact sperm production and overall fertility, so the goal is to find out which option works best to improve sperm quality and help men trying to conceive.
To participate in this trial, men must be dealing with infertility and have noticeable varicoceles, either on one or both sides. They should also be experiencing teratozoospermia. However, those with recurring varicoceles or significant health issues, as well as certain sensitivities to medications, are not eligible. If you join the trial, you’ll be part of a study that aims to improve fertility treatments, and you’ll receive close monitoring and care throughout the process.
