ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of virtual reality glasses during a medical procedure called cystoscopy. Cystoscopy is a procedure where a doctor looks inside the bladder using a thin tube with a camera. The aim of the study is to see if wearing virtual reality glasses can help reduce pain and anxiety during this procedure, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for your first cystoscopy under local anesthesia (meaning you will be awake, but the area will be numbed). You should not have any vision or hearing issues that would prevent you from using the glasses, and you must be able to communicate and speak Turkish. However, if you have any allergies to the numbing medicine, have a urinary tract infection, or other specific medical conditions, you may not be eligible. Participants can expect to wear the virtual reality glasses during the cystoscopy, and the study hopes to learn how this technology can improve the experience for patients.
