ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special program called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) might help women who have recently given birth feel better about their birth experience, especially if it was traumatic. The study will take place at Malatya Training and Research Hospital from July to October 2025. Women who have had a vaginal delivery and are able to understand Turkish will be eligible to participate. They should not have any diagnosed mental health issues and need to have access to the internet and a smart device for online sessions.
In this study, some women will join an 8-week MBSR program that teaches techniques to reduce stress and improve mindfulness, while others will not receive any intervention. Researchers will compare the participants’ feelings about their birth experience before and after the program. This study aims to better understand how mindfulness might change how women remember their birth and how they perceive any trauma related to it. If you or someone you know is interested and meets the criteria, it could be a helpful opportunity to explore ways to improve mental health after childbirth.
