ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help improve the width of gum tissue around dental implants. The researchers want to find out if using small titanium pieces, called fixation tacs, to hold a gum graft in place is better than the traditional method of using stitches (sutures). This is important for patients who don’t have enough healthy gum tissue, which can affect the success of their dental implants.
To participate in this study, individuals must be between 18 and 40 years old, healthy, and not have any active gum disease. They should also have less than 2 mm of healthy gum tissue around their implants and be non-smokers. Participants will undergo the procedure to receive a gum graft, and then the researchers will measure how much healthy gum tissue they've gained after the treatment. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it’s a chance to contribute to better dental care options for future patients.
