ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the spiritual needs of patients in Europe who have Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), which includes conditions like Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, as well as their caregivers. The study aims to understand how these spiritual needs affect their experience with the illness. It will begin with a pilot phase to adapt and test two questionnaires that will help gather important information. Afterward, an anonymous online survey will be sent out to participants in their native languages, making it easier for them to share their thoughts and experiences.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be adolescents or adults who have been diagnosed with IBD. This includes those with Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, or other related forms of IBD. If you choose to participate, you can expect to fill out questionnaires about your spiritual needs and how they relate to your health. This study is important because it seeks to understand the emotional and spiritual challenges faced by those living with IBD, which can help improve support and care for patients and their families.
