ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different methods of cold therapy to help patients who have just had total knee replacement surgery. Cold therapy can help reduce pain and swelling after the operation, and this study aims to find the best way to use cold treatment to make patients feel more comfortable and improve their recovery experience. Researchers will test various factors like how cold the therapy is, how long it lasts, and how often it’s applied.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have recently had a total knee replacement surgery. It's important that you haven't had any previous surgeries or injuries to the same knee. However, if you have certain conditions like sensory issues, mental disorders, or are allergic to cold, you might not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive different types of cold therapy and help researchers understand which methods work best for post-surgery recovery.
