ClinConnect Summary
The iCare IC1000 Alignment Study is a research trial that aims to test a special feature of the iCare IC1000 tonometer, which is a device used to measure eye pressure. This study is important because it helps ensure that the device works well for patients who need to monitor their intraocular pressure, which is crucial for managing eye health, particularly for those at risk of conditions like glaucoma. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 18 and older, and it welcomes people of all genders.
To be eligible for the study, participants should not have certain eye conditions, such as severe dry eyes or specific types of corneal issues, and they should have at least two functional eyes. If you decide to take part, you can expect to undergo some simple tests using the iCare IC1000 tonometer to see how well the alignment feature performs. This trial is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could improve eye care for many people.
