ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how caffeine, specifically from green tea, can help reduce the severity of acute migraine attacks. Researchers want to see if taking caffeine can make migraine pain less intense for patients who experience different types of migraines, including those with and without aura (visual or sensory disturbances that can happen before a headache). The study is currently looking for participants aged between 18 and 65 who have been diagnosed with migraines according to specific medical guidelines.
To be eligible for the study, participants must have a history of migraines but should not have certain health issues like heart problems, active ulcers, or severe mental health conditions that could affect their ability to participate. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive caffeine and report how it affects your migraine pain using a simple scoring system. This study aims to find out if caffeine can be an effective treatment option for managing acute migraines.
