ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a medication called noradrenaline on patients who experience low blood pressure after receiving anesthesia for surgery. Specifically, the researchers want to see if giving noradrenaline before anesthesia can help prevent this drop in blood pressure, especially in patients with sepsis, a serious infection that can affect multiple organs.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be adults with sepsis who are scheduled for surgery to treat their infection. However, individuals who refuse to participate, have certain heart conditions, or are already experiencing unstable blood pressure before surgery cannot join. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, those who take part will receive the noradrenaline infusion and be closely monitored during their surgery to see how well it works. This study aims to improve patient care by finding better ways to manage blood pressure during critical surgical procedures.
