ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how mental health conditions, like anxiety or depression, might affect the chances of someone relapsing into addiction while they are in the hospital for detox treatment. The goal is to better understand which mental health issues increase the risk of relapse and to see if using special screening questionnaires can help doctors identify these problems more accurately. This could help tailor the care patients receive to better support their recovery and reduce the chance of relapse.
People who are 16 years or older and have been hospitalized in the complex withdrawal unit at the Strasbourg psychiatric clinic between January and November 2024 may be eligible to join. Participants will continue to receive the usual care, which includes interviews, workshops, and support for when they leave the hospital. The study will involve completing some questionnaires to help assess mental health. If a participant chooses not to join, they can still receive regular care. This research aims to improve how patients with addiction and mental health conditions are cared for during their hospital stay.
