ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at early changes in the lungs called interstitial lung abnormalities and how these might develop into more serious lung and airway problems over time. Researchers want to understand how these early lung changes progress and what factors might increase the risk of developing additional lung diseases. The study will follow adults who have had chest CT scans as part of their routine health check-ups in China, using their imaging and medical information to track any changes in their lung health.
If you are 18 years or older and have had a chest CT scan between 2017 and 2024, you might be eligible to take part, as long as your medical records are complete. Participants won’t need to undergo new tests right away but will be followed over time to see how their lung condition changes. This information could help doctors better identify people at risk for lung diseases and improve how these conditions are monitored and treated in the future. The study is not yet recruiting participants but aims to include adults of all genders.
