ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different surgical methods used to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which is a key ligament in the knee that helps keep it stable. Both methods use a piece of the hamstring tendon, taken from the back of the thigh, to replace the damaged ACL. The study compares the "all-inside" technique and the "complete tibial tunnel" technique to see which one helps patients regain better knee function after surgery.
People who might be eligible to join this study are adults between 18 and 65 years old who have a torn ACL but do not have other serious knee injuries, ongoing knee inflammation, or pregnancy. If you participate, you can expect to have ACL reconstruction surgery using one of the two techniques being studied, followed by regular check-ups to see how well your knee recovers. This study aims to find out which surgical approach might lead to better outcomes for patients like you.
