ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a mindfulness program combined with digital tools can help older adults live healthier and happier lives as they age. Mindfulness means paying attention to the present moment in a calm and focused way. The program lasts for ten weeks and includes videos and messages sent through a popular phone app called LINE to support learning and practice. The study will look at things like how aware participants become, their physical activity, heart health, thinking skills, sleep quality, and how they feel about aging.
To join the study, you need to be 65 years or older, live in the community (not in a care facility), be able to speak Mandarin or Taiwanese, and use a mobile phone with the LINE app. People with memory problems or who cannot speak are not eligible. If you participate, you’ll be randomly placed in either the mindfulness program group or a control group that does not receive the program. Some participants will also be interviewed to share their experiences. This study is not yet recruiting but aims to find new ways to support healthy aging using modern technology and mindfulness.
