ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different types of exercise programs to see how well they help people with pain and changes in the tendon of the long head of the biceps muscle in the shoulder. The goal is to find out which exercise approach can reduce shoulder pain and improve the tendon’s condition. This study is currently looking for volunteers to participate.
People who may be eligible are adults who have had shoulder pain for at least three months and have been diagnosed by a doctor with a specific type of tendon problem in their shoulder, called biceps long head tendinopathy, often related to other shoulder tendon issues. To join, participants need to have a pain level higher than 3 out of 10 when moving their shoulder and must be able to follow the exercise program. If you have had recent shoulder surgery, a sudden shoulder injury, limited shoulder movement, or certain treatments like steroid injections in the last year, you would not qualify. Those who join will be asked to follow an exercise routine designed for the study and will be monitored to see how their pain and tendon health change over time.
