ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a type of magnetic stimulation applied to the body (called peripheral magnetic stimulation) affects brain activity in healthy adults. Researchers want to see how changing the strength, speed, and number of magnetic pulses influences the brain’s excitability, which means how easily brain cells respond to signals. By testing different settings, they hope to find the best way to use this non-invasive technique, which could one day help treat neurological conditions like stroke or nerve disorders.
If you are between 18 and 40 years old, healthy, right-handed, and for women, regularly using birth control pills, you might be eligible to join. The study excludes people who are pregnant, have a history of seizures or epilepsy, have metal implants in certain parts of the body, or have neurological or muscle problems that could affect the tests. Participants will take part in sessions where they receive magnetic pulses while researchers measure how their brain and nerves respond. The study is designed to be safe and carefully controlled, and your involvement could help improve future treatments for brain and nerve health.

Eligibility criteria
- • Inclusion criteria: Healthy adults aged 18-40 years, both sexes, right-handed (confirmed via Edinburgh Handedness Inventory), and for females, consistent use of contraceptive medication to mitigate hormonal influences on nervous system excitability.
- • Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy; history of seizures or epilepsy; metallic implants in the head, spine, face, or heart; diagnosed neurological or musculoskeletal conditions interfering with assessments or interventions; or use of substances altering nervous system excitability.
