ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different types of stretching techniques to help people with chronic low back pain, which means pain in the lower back lasting more than three months. The goal is to see which method—called Post-Isometric Relaxation or Post-Facilitation Stretch—works better when added to regular physical therapy to reduce pain and improve movement and daily function.
People between 18 and 45 years old who have moderate low back pain (not too mild or severe) and some difficulty in daily activities because of their pain may be eligible. Participants should not have any nerve-related problems, recent surgeries, or other serious health issues affecting their back. If chosen, they will be divided into two groups, each receiving one of the stretching techniques along with standard physical therapy for four weeks. Their pain levels, back movement, and ability to do daily tasks will be measured before and after treatment to check for improvement. This study is currently recruiting participants at two clinics in Lahore and aims to find better ways to manage chronic low back pain.
