ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is comparing two ways of doing Pilates exercises to help people who have ongoing low back pain without a specific cause. One group will do Pilates exercises online with a trainer guiding them remotely, while the other group will do the same exercises in person with a physical therapist. Both groups will also receive standard physical therapy treatments like warm packs and gentle stretches twice a week for four weeks. The researchers want to see which method helps reduce pain, improve movement, and decrease disability better.

Adults between 18 and 40 years old who have had low back pain for at least three months and experience moderate pain are eligible to join. Participants should be able to stand on their own for at least 30 minutes and have a certain level of difficulty in daily activities due to their back pain. People with serious back problems like fractures, arthritis, or nerve issues, or those who are pregnant, will not be included. If you join, you can expect to do specific Pilates exercises lasting about 30 minutes, repeated several times, along with standard physical therapy. The study will last about nine months and aims to find out if online Pilates can be as effective as in-person sessions for managing low back pain.
