ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether using virtual reality glasses and music during blood donation can help reduce anxiety, improve vital signs like heart rate and blood pressure, and increase overall satisfaction for blood donors. Because donating blood can sometimes cause stress or uncomfortable reactions, the study wants to see if these distraction tools make the experience better and encourage donors to come back in the future.
Adults between 18 and 60 years old who are donating whole blood may be eligible to join, as long as they don’t have certain health issues like neurological or psychological conditions, or problems with vision or hearing that make communication difficult. Participants will be asked to donate blood while using virtual reality glasses and listening to music, with their comfort and safety closely monitored. People who have experienced fainting during donations or have symptoms like migraines or nausea won’t be able to join. The goal is to find a simple way to make blood donation less stressful and more pleasant for donors.
