ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new mobile phone app called the PN PRIMA app, designed to help Community Health Workers (known as Kader) improve how they monitor and support the nutrition of young children at local health posts called Posyandu in Indonesia. The app aims to make it easier for these health workers to collect accurate information, manage their work, and make better decisions when providing nutrition care for children under five years old. The study will compare different groups of Posyandu to see how well the app helps improve the health workers’ follow-up visits and nutrition services.
The trial will include Community Health Workers who are already working at selected Posyandu in two areas, Kabupaten Bekasi and Kota Depok, and who agree to take part in the study. Participants will use the updated mobile app while continuing their usual work, and researchers will look at how the app affects their performance and the care they provide. This study is important because it supports Indonesia’s efforts to strengthen primary health care for children and includes special attention to gender equality and social inclusion to ensure better health services for all families.
