ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help adults with cancer who are working or want to keep working. The study aims to see if it’s possible and helpful for cancer care teams to check if patients are having trouble at work because of their cancer, and then connect them to resources that can support them. The researchers want to know if this process works well for both patients and the healthcare staff in two cancer clinics.
To join the study, you need to be 18 or older, currently working when you were diagnosed with cancer, and receiving care at one of the participating clinics. You also need to speak English or Spanish and be able to give informed consent, which means understanding and agreeing to take part. If you join, you’ll be asked to fill out two surveys—one when you start and another six months later—to share your experiences. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it hopes to find ways to better support people with cancer in managing work challenges during their treatment and recovery.
