ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to measure how well people with chronic low back pain can move and stay active. Instead of using the usual 6-minute walk test, the researchers want to see if a 6-minute step test—where participants step up and down on a platform for six minutes—can give similar information about their physical ability. This could offer a simpler or more practical option for assessing movement in people with long-lasting back pain.
People who might join this study are adults between 18 and 65 years old who have had chronic low back pain for at least three months. To be part of the trial, participants should not have other serious bone or nerve problems, recent back surgery, or be pregnant. Also, they should not have been regularly active in the last three months. If you join, you’ll be asked to do the step test to help researchers understand how well this method works. The study isn’t recruiting yet but may be an option for those wanting to help improve how back pain is assessed in the future.
