ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of exercises that combine movement and thinking tasks (called dual-task exercises) affect children with mild intellectual disabilities. The researchers want to see if these exercises can help improve the children’s ability to move around, keep their balance, think better, and overall enjoy a higher quality of life.
Children who might join the study need to be between 8 and 12 years old, have a mild intellectual disability (with an IQ between 51 and 70), understand and follow instructions in Turkish, and have parental permission to participate. The study is open to all genders but excludes children who have other health issues like metabolic diseases, hearing or vision problems, or who already exercise regularly. Participants will take part in special exercise programs designed to challenge both their physical and cognitive skills, and the study will measure how these exercises impact their daily functioning and well-being.
