ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how different levels of breathing exercises, called inspiratory muscle training, affect the oxygen supply in the muscles between the ribs (intercostal muscles) in healthy people. The goal is to see how these exercises impact muscle oxygenation right after the training is done.
To take part, individuals need to be physically active—doing moderate exercise for at least 150 minutes across 3 days each week—and willing to volunteer. People with chronic illnesses, heavy smokers, those with recent infections like pneumonia, or psychiatric conditions will not be eligible. Participants can expect to perform breathing exercises at varying intensities while researchers measure how their muscles respond. This study is not yet open for enrollment, and it focuses on healthy adults within a wide age range.
