ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a tool called the Baylor Continence Scale, which helps doctors understand how well children with anorectal malformations (a condition affecting the anus and rectum) can control their bowel movements. The goal is to make sure this tool works well for Turkish-speaking children by checking if it gives reliable and accurate results. This will help doctors better assess and treat continence issues in these children.
Children who have had surgery for anorectal malformations, are between 6 and 18 years old, and speak Turkish along with their caregivers may be eligible to participate. During the study, families will be asked to complete the scale, and researchers will test how well it works in Turkish. Children with difficulties in understanding, hearing, or vision are not eligible. This study is important because it will help standardize care and make sure assessments are clear and useful for Turkish-speaking patients and doctors.
