ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at whether a personalized eating plan can help adults with type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar and cholesterol better. Participants will be given a special diet tailored just for them, or they will continue with the usual care they receive. The goal is to see if people can follow this customized diet for 10 weeks and whether it makes a difference in their health, including weight, blood sugar levels, and cholesterol. About 122 adults with type 2 diabetes who receive care at the Diabetes Hospital and Research Centre in Peshawar can take part.
If you have type 2 diabetes and are willing to try a personalized diet and attend follow-up visits, you might be eligible to join. Pregnant women and those with serious health problems that make following a diet hard cannot join. Participants will have their health checked at the start and after three months to see how the diet is working. This study will help doctors understand if a larger trial could benefit people with diabetes in the local community.
