ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying three different types of physical therapy to see how they help children with spastic hemiparetic cerebral palsy—a condition that affects muscle control and movement on one side of the body. The therapies being tested are robot-assisted walking training, hydrotherapy (exercises done in water), and conventional physiotherapy (traditional physical exercises). The goal is to find out which therapy best improves muscle strength, balance, ability to move around, and emotional well-being in children.
Children aged 5 to 15 years who can walk and follow simple instructions may be eligible to join. If selected, they will be randomly assigned to one of the three therapy groups and will participate in sessions twice a week for six weeks. The study will measure progress using easy-to-understand tests for strength, balance, and mobility, as well as check emotional and behavioral health. This research could help families and healthcare providers choose the most helpful therapy for children with this type of cerebral palsy.
