ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at how spending a lot of time on social media might be linked to compulsive exercise behaviors—meaning exercising in a way that feels out of control—among university students aged 18 to 24. Researchers want to understand if being heavily involved in digital platforms affects how young adults approach exercise and whether it influences habits that might feel like an addiction.
To take part, you need to be a healthy young adult between 18 and 24 years old who uses social media for at least four hours a day. If you join, you’ll be asked to complete some questionnaires about your social media use and exercise habits. This study is still not open for recruiting participants yet, but when it is, it will help provide important insights into how social media may impact behavior and mental well-being in young adults.
